When people talk about cumming they usually mean orgasm and you will know if that ever happens to you. You get wet when you are aroused as it aids penetration. Orgasm is not essential to enjoying sex although men often want to claim a woman's orgasm as a prize which puts pressure on the woman to fake it to please her man. If you want to have an orgasm then practice on yourself as per the other answers, then you can direct your man to touch you in the way you need to be touched. Don't put pressure on yourself to have an orgasm as that can stop you having one - you need to be totally relaxed for orgasm to occur; sex is enjoyable with or without one.

A reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2006):

Yes there is a definite difference. Not all women can "cum" vaginally.

There is the g spot which is located just about two inches inside and on the top (bellyside)...it is textured there...slow and deep or fast and hard strokes to where you may feel a need to "pee" (don't worry you won't) would be where the gspot is.

That coupled with clitoral stimulation as Juliette describes is very ...effective.

It will take trust in your partner and you will have to be willing to let go and explore your body together.

When you cum, you could ejaculate and you will spasm...your boyfriend will know when he feels his fingers being grabbed and "pushed" out.

Go to your local book store and see if you can find a book about woman's orgasms or google womans' orgasms on the web.

Good luck.

A female reader, Juliette United Kingdom +, writes (18 August 2006):

Juliette agony auntBeing wet is usually meaning you are aroused, but if you 'came', you would generally know it!

A little nearer to the front from where you pee from is a nodule, a bit like a button and if you touch there it is so sensitive one finger is unbearable. Practice by massaging two or three fingers around where you wee from and you soon feel you don't want to stop. Your may get the urge to open you legs really wide (although you can 'come' with them together), just keep massaging gently for even 15 minutes if it takes that long, and you will 'come' and know the difference!!!
