 I've tried. The fun, of course, is in the trying. But I've never been able to do it. And yes...it is pretty disgusting for some people...but if you both enjoy it...then just keep at it.You might try a vibrator...my boyfriend doesn't want to try that...but it works wonders on me....

 The prostate gland is located right at the base of the bladder at the end of the urethra which runs out and along the length of the penis. I doubt you would be able to reach it with your tongue, and if you tried to reach it by any means, I am sure it would be excruciatingly painful for him.
