writes:Is it normal to be very upset/paranoid when my new GF is out with her friends drinking?I just started dating this girl, and she has some guy friends and i dont mind at all that she hangs out with them but just the thought of a pretty 19 yr old girl, alcohol, and guys doesn't make my stomach feel good.(she is hanging with a few girl/guy friends)She told me that she would never cheat or do anything with another guy while with someone,and i do trust her its just alcohol makes people do stupid stuff that sometimes they regret.Is it normal to be afraid, and is there anything to do or say to make myself feel better?  Hi my names Amanda,Why get upset when your girlfriend is out trying to have fun? Do you guys live in the same town/city? I'm sure if she's out a parties there is a few people there that you happen to know, therefore if anything does happen you will find out either way from her telling you or someone else telling you. You sound just like my boyfriend, everytime I go out he gets mad because he thinks I'm gonna fuck up. Like give us a break, yes Alcohol makes people do stupid things but it doesnt make them come out of realization of where there heart is at, and if it does then they simply don't care its just simple like that. Don't get upset whenever she wants to go out, ask to go with her or just let her have her fun. If you keep getting upset with her shes just going to fly off the handle back at you and keep going out everynight so you wont get time with her at all, and she'll do that just to piss you off.You say you trust her. But asking that question proves it itself that you really dont trust her. Goodluck :)
