If you both love each other....then MARRY each other. I respect and understand others opinions who think it is not right (FOR THEM) however its right for us, and I will be marrying my cousin very shortly...and it is only HE that i will be standing barefooted with in honesty when we take our vows...nothing to hide...no shame...just love which is truth. Yes some would say to me WRONG i would say ...if i sacrifice the love of my life, for YOUR OPINION on what you think is wrong, what will YOU sacrifice for me in return?

reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2009): There's a lot of misinformed 'information' here. In the UK it's not classed as incest, neither is it immoral, and it's certainly not illegal. If you did have kids there's no more likelihood of there being any birth defects than with a woman in her forties finding herself pregnant.
A few people who married their first cousin: Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Queen Victoria, Joseph & Mary. Need I say more?

Personally i think it'd be very weird and wrong on many levels.

i think it is still a form of incest. so i doubt it is right to marry your cousin.
think about your future...you may not want kids now, but one day you will....and you don;t want to mix up the genes by having a baby with a relative.
you need to get out and meet some new random guys, it's not right to want to marry your first cousin.
