Is it just weird to love your best friend?

hey cupid, well here it is...i think i love my best friend (a boy btw), an im not sure whether he fancies me back or not, cos we might aswell b a couple. he gets me makeup an gives me guitar lessons an weve met eachothers family an hes even slept at ma house (nout happend) an we're always textin an he acts like he fancies me, like eye contact an stuff like that in form, but a few months ago we were textin an i sed to him "i think i might fancy you (name) an i no u dont like me back i just wanted to tell u" so he text me bk sayin "aww thats well nice, an im sorry i dont like you back" but tbh hes only really been doin the guitar lessons an givin me makeup an eye contact an stuff recently so i dont no what to do cos i cnt say i like him again cos that would just seem wierd? i dont no what to think :( plz help xx
