Is he really in love or does he just want something out of me?

Question - (8 June 2008) 2 Answers - (Newest, 9 June 2008)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

A guy that I know says that he's in love with me but I don't really know if he's actually in love or he just wants something out of me. Basically after I told him I didn't like him he said it was okay and we should be friends, but he's always trying to talk to me or something and he keeps hinting at going out on dates in stuff I tell him I'm not interested but he says he wasn't even asking.

He's a nice guy but I just don't know, I would love for him to be a friend but he just makes me so uncomfortable sometimes. Should I really be this worried?

A male reader, anonymous, writes (9 June 2008):

He is sexually interested in you, and it sounds like either he is stubburn person and doesn't know when to quit or he just doesn't have any other women in his life besides you. I think a fast way to get rid of him is to get another guy to hang out with you. And its probably not a good idea to have him as a friend.

deadheart agony auntWell if he likes you I would think he would want to talk to you. Maybe you should tell him that he makes you uncomfortable and maybe he'll back off a little.
