Hi, I've been going to a certain martial arts class and I find my instructor irresistible. I really want him. What is the best way to make a move (since he is my instructor after all)?

I took leave from his class for a month because the preoccupation was getting in the way of my study, especially harmful during exam time, which is now. Although when I get back I know I'll start to be drawn to him again, (I do miss him right now too) how do I stop these inappropriate feelings?

Hello,

Your martial arts instructor is your teacher and although you are over eighteen and not strictly in a school system with rules it is still inappropriate to make advances towards him.

If however you drop out of his class and you are able to see him OUTSIDE of the 'classroom' then it should be okay.

If you want to continue to be in the class and learn from him then STAY AWAY!

whitemoor5 agony auntDon't go there.

It's still the same student-teacher relationship thing.

It can only end badly for all concerned. Also, he may well be married too.
