I'm shy, and I don't know if she likes me?

Im 17...so this the story, since Grade 3 im studying in a school for only Boys....thats the reason why Im shy and unconfident around girls.....so I moved to another school(college).....and it was a big change, because there are girls everywhere!................so its been like a month since I've been here, and theres a girl I like.....and I dont know if she likes me or not...I've never talked to her ......now heres a problem, shes from a different country!..we both speak english though....and we're the same religion..does this really matter?...............pls tell me what to do......................and one more thing, theres 0% possibility of taking her out to movies or dinner or something, because these things usually do not happen here(where I live)...so we can meet only at school or phone calls
