I'm scared the boy I like might have said something unpleasant about me

A female United Kingdom age 13-15, keely-h writes:

there is this boy who i really like and he is freinds with this boy who is in my i.t class.

he knows i like his freind and he said(to the boy i like) "oh yeah,i told him you really fancie him and he said Never" and then after that he got distracted by this girl that wanted his help.

i was too scared to ask him to finish his sentance becasue i am terrifeid of getting hurt should i be worried that the boy i like may have said something unpleasent about me?

Honestly girl, everyone will get hurt. Its going to happen. There's no avoiding it. But, if he's not interested and said, "Never," then he's not worth the trouble or the pain. If you really like him, it might be hard, but it'll be ok. You'll find someone, and he won't say "Never" about you.
