writes:I like this guy an he likes me he left for mississippi an we were in love with each other but we never went out but when he came home he got another girl friend but they broke up and his mom asked him why we werent together an he said "mom i dont wanna hurt her she is wonderful an has a perfect heart" his mom said that he has never said that about a female before.Does that mean i could possibly have another chance with him? I mean the feelings we have for each other are still there i wanna call but then i dont cause i dont know if he wants to talk to me or not.

 I think he was clear: he doesn't want to hurt you. In this case, "hurt" means, "doesn't want a relationship with you". I think he might want to talk to you and the like, but he is not interested in a relationship.
