writes:I'm 29 yrs old. I have been with my boyfriend for 7months. At first he was very motivated, and worked very hard to get me to start dating him. We get along wonderfully, we have the same interest, circle of friends, similar values and goals. All of these things have made me fall madly in love with him. He's loosely spoken of marriage and living together (things i'm very comfortable speaking of). The problem? I'm head over heels in love with him, and he says he doesn't have those "deep" feelings for me. When i inquire about his feelings, he says that he thinks i'm beautiful, wonderful,and perfect. He thinks things are great, and wants us to enjoy our time together. I love him, he knows it, and i'm making excuses all the time, telling myself "he's affraid, he's been hurt, he'll come aroud". But if he's not in love after 7moths, will he ever be? Am I just fooling myself and waiting for something that will never happen? Help me, i don't know what to think anymore! Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (13 June 2008): i have been with someone for over a year and a half. he tells me he loves me, but signals shows he doesnt. i love him with all my heart and would not change him for thw world and couldnt bare to loose him. he has helped me through alot. And i really dont think my life could go on if he finished with me. I want to spend every second of the day with him. But he seems 2 not want to see me. And always seems to have an excuse. I really dont want to think that he does not love me but i dont no what to do.
If he is showing signs in this stage as much as it hurts i would not be with him.
If he says he does not feal the same, i dont think he could ever.

 Maybe he just has fear of saying "the L word" lol.Dunno,I personally think that deeds are more important than words.If you do get along perfect as you say you do I guess theres no reason to worry at all.You start enjoying too:)

 ok i know im only 15 giving advice in this but i think hes scared 2 tell u how he really feels...plus im sure he loves u if hes stayed w/ u this long...im sure of it
