A female , anonymous writes:

My boyfriend of two yrs left me at home for the whole weekend. We had a fight and didn't talk for two weeks. He called me and said we must talk. I went to his place but he did again. When he got home he found that i took all my belongings and left his that he gave me. He called to apologise and say he doesn't want to loose me and that I must think of everything we've been through. I'm confused.

A reader, anonymous, writes (5 December 2005):

I'm not sure how old you both are are but for him to call you over to talk and then he disappears tells me he is behaving a tad immature and juvenile. That alone makes me question his committment to you. Something is up with him. If he wanted to make this work..he would've been there.

However, it's obvious your relationship with this guy is very rocky, and it sounds like some introspection and heart-searching deep thinking has to happen here. I think a break is a good thing. Steer clear for a few weeks to give you both time to think this through and decide if you both love each other and are committed enough to work hard at making this work. He says he loves you and doesn't want to lose you. If that were the case, he would make himself available to talk this through. Sorry to say this, but he's not behaving like a guy who wants to make this work. Sounds like he avoiding you for some reason. You need to talk with him and find out what's happening. I wish you well and be strong. Take care,

Hugs Irish
