It is extremely sad that someone would see anyone having sex that are within 4 years age difference to be a crime. People need to use common sense when interpreting laws especially. Maybe adults upset over this situation might see daylight if they were arrested for being 2 years or more difference in age.I assume young lady that both of your parents are aware of you being pregnant, or at least the two of you dating?If the young man doesn't jump through hoops with your parents, and your parents do not like his attitude, then they can be immature and get revenge against him by calling the police on him.Hopefully no one will see the benefit of him going to jail while you have a child. It clearly would be better that both parents from his and your side help you both work through this. You can always blame your parents for not stepping up to the plate.

 If the sex was before he was 18, he might not be able to go to jail. look up the statutory rape laws for your state to be sure.

Ms.Peecup352 is verified as being by the original poster of the question Thankyou for that. So as long as both of my parents, and his parents are ok with the ages, he can't go to jail unless one of them press charges?
And we did use a condom. It was our first time so it was clumsy and akward.
I would love more anwsers plz!
