writes:i am completely in love with this guy. we have known each other about six months and we have a great friendship.we meet at work, but i was only working there for two weeks and we got on straight away. he told me to keep in touch when i was leaving and we exchanged numbers. nothing happened. we didnt even speak to each other for few weeks. then a colleague of his and myself were going to meet for lunch and we asked him to join us (she doesnt know about how i feel for him). we had lunch and then the colleague went back to work and the guy had to go somewhere for work and asked me to accompany him, which i did.on the journey back, all i was thinking was how can i say bye to him. when it was time for us to say bye, he grabbed hold of me and gave me a hug (we held each other for what felt like a few minutes, but was actually a few seconds). whilst he had his arms around me , he asked me to go out with him later in the week. but that never happened.apart from that, we speak often and i think we just become good friends. we have never met, but we have tried many times, but something always comes in the way. he once said to me that 'we always say we are gona meet, but then nevr do.' yet we still aint met.it has now got complicated since then, as he is going to move for work in a couple of months. i love him so much, i want him to now how i feel and if he feels anything for me, but i dont wana lose him, he means so much to me. i cant think of my future without him. its my birthday in few weeks and i would love to spend time with him, even if it is just as friends. but i dont think he knows its my birthday, i dont know how to tell him.please help me on what i should do.

 I know how you feel, when you really fancy someone and you just can't seem to find the courage or the words to express how you feel.
I think this guy's feelings for you are reciprocated, and for whatever reason he is either shy or scared to let his feelings be known to you.
I think on this one you are going to have to take the bull by the horns and tell this guy how you feel outright. Ask him out for a coffy somewhere and tell him then.
