I have a question that I hope there is someone who can help me with...it's more of a career dilemma than a love... I met a wonderful man on a dating website last year. I live in Arizona (USA) and He lives in Maine (USA) For those of you who are not familiar with US geography, we are over 2,700 miles apart. I visited him in June for the first time and He came here in Sept. We are very much in love and I have agreed to move there in the spring. The dilemma is... I am a preschool teacher. I presently work for a great company (on the Fortune 500 list of top 100 employers to work for) He also has a great job that he has been at for over 38 years! The problem is, jobs are scarce and low paying in Maine and also the commute would be 10 times what I'm driving to work now, since he lives way out in the country (a beautiful place) Also the weather up there is a problem since there is lots of snow, ice, rain, fog, etc.

I would love to find a stay at home career/business. I'm not looking to get rich... just something to suppliment his income. I'm not real savvy on the computer, but I'm learning. I want to avoid all the scams out there, and find something legitimate! I think this might be a great way to contact people who know the ins and outs of online work, and can help me plan my future... Please help... if you have any serious suggestions, contact me personally, and I will respond! I won't get replies until tonight when I return home from work, so it will be about 10 hours before I read any answers. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Britt

Can you make crafts or clothing? You could sell them on etsy or ebay.Or you could start a mini farm growing plants/vegetables/flowers in the summer and in a greenhouse and sell them to florists and at the local farmers market, also you could raise chickens or rabbits for meat and eggs. You could start a kennel and take care of peoples dogs while they are on vacation. You could buy an apartment building and rent it out or start a bed and breakfast. You are a teacher why not start a preschool/daycare or tutor children?
