I know this is usually a site to discus relationship problems but I donno who else to talk to about this.

I’m an 18 year old girl from Scotland and am a U.K size 8-10 and I weigh 8 stone 6 pounds. (I’ve always been pretty skinny.)

I go a long walk most evenings…if the weather permits and I go to the gym now and then.

But recently I’ve became quite worried about my size and eating habits.

I sleep a lot during the day coz I’ve just recently became unemployed and when I’m awake I send most of my time eating junk coz I’ve missed breakfast and lunch.

I never used to worry about being fat or what ever but recently its just started to get to me and I’m beginning to worry myself…I wonder if that extra bit of flab is really there or if I’m just imaging it or if its always been there and I’m not as skinny as I think.

Help!!

x.Helpful.Cupid.x agony auntHiya.

Oh im glad somone brought this up. I am also size 8-10 and around your age, make sure this dosent become a eating disorder and remember, you are not fat! If youve always been skinny..your not fat at all! Make the most of your slim frame. Also, I am 8 stone, and i used to worry about this, but its just a case of body mass index!! Which (if you dont know already) is a mixture of weight and height, so if your tall..its fine..and even if your not..dont worry, just look after your body and eat a little healthier.

Good luck xx

(p.s...if you still feel like this in a couple of weeks, i suggest you get this checked, as it could be a minor eating disorder.)

Hey...Lots of slim girls worry that they will get fat. But usually they don't. And I don't think you will! Just exercise a lot and try to eat three meals at the right times. Good luck! Cara -x-

AngelofLove agony auntYour size and weight is still skinny take it from me.

You need to keep busy and do not let stress get you down.

try to enjoy life, and make the most of it. Do not make out problems that are not really there.

stay strong and be happy.

You sound just fine. Stop worrying. You are doing everything right and once you are back in the working world you will feel a lot better about yourself. I know how you feel because my weight bounces from one thing to another. I would be chuffed to bits if i could be a size 8 again! Size 12 is the best i can do, but hey, thats life. Enjoy what you have and take care.

Wow.. my sitaution is scarily almost identical to yours. Don't worry your not fat ..that feeling is just guilt because you know you shouldn't be eating all that junk food n you should probably exercise more. No need for crash dieting/ killer workouts... just try n eat a litte healthier n do some sit-ups and you'll feel better :)

hunny from everthing youve said you have nothing to worry about at all. your a size 8 for christ sake, if i could find a woman like that id be welling happy (although scared of braking her)

i understand that most woman worry about their weight, and if truth be told most men too. its just a sign of the stupid culture we live in where everyone has to be waffer thin and made of plastic.

as long as you keep the walks up and the eating healthy youve nothing to worry about at all.

hope that helped

this is a major problem in society i went through the same problem and ended up with anorexia i went down to a painful size 7 and after the help and support of my family i got the problem sorted. if you think that this weight issue is going to become a serious problem then consult your GP where he can give you advice on healthy eating maybe start the gym and try to stick to a certain weight goal.

i hope this helps.
