You need i) medical attention, ii) counseling, iii) involvement with local law enforcement authorities.If pregnant, unless the pregnancy proves life threatening to you, do not choose to abort. All life is precious, and not any one life is more or less valuable than any other, regardless the circumstances of conception. As you are 14, it would make far more sense to aim for adoption, but, of course, that is your personal choice. This is a horrendous thing that has happened to you; however, the bottom line is this: all life, whether formed through reciprocal love or alternatively brought about by way of a despicable violation, is to be treasured and embraced. In avoiding abortion, you will be opting for life over death. Do not make your unborn child pay for the crime of his/her birth father.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 January 2008): you can go to a near by clinic and get tested, its free. tell them your story. i know how it feels, im 14 and i found out i was pregnant last year but i got tested for aids hiv std and i was clean, but i kept my babby. if you are pregnant dont get a bortion. keep it. if you dont want it then after its born ,put it up for adoption.

Step #2: Tell the police.
It's not your fault this happened. It is not. I don't care if maybe you even knew him or chose to spend time around him or whatever, you still did not choose to be raped and that's what matters.
You were victimized. Just like if he broke into your house and stole your television set.

You should tell your parents and they would no exactly what to do. You need to go to the doctor/clinic and get a check up. you have to get a pregnancy test done and a aids test. I would advise you to take action asap before it is too late.

TELL on HIM. how did you get raped? is this a guy your age, older, random, etc? well do this after you tell your parents and get a check up. later it is your choice to have the baby or not. i don't know if you are pro-choice or pro-life, however, i would suggest abortion. but that is your decision.
but besides that, go tell your parents and get a full check up ASAP... well like Now!

 If you were raped the first thing you do is go to a hospital or doctor to have you checked out. Not only could you be pregnant, you may have caught a STD. Secondly you have to go to the police and file a police report. They will help and guide you, don’t be afraid. If you have a good friend you can confide in go to them first before you confide in your parents, but you HAVE to tell your parents. This is not case where you had sex and might have gotten pregnant...you were raped. If your parents are normal they should love you and be by your side every step of the way. I pray for you. I know this is not an easy experience, but don't go it alone. There are people that love and care for you all around you.

reader, anonymous, writes (14 November 2007): ok, hun the 1st thing you should do, is tell someone that you can trust. go and buy a pregnacy test from wal*mart or walgreens. You need to find out for sure. You eventually need to tell your parents, the only thing they will probably get mad at is the fact you didnt tell them wen it happened. Im 16 and believe me ive bn there done that. i had a pregnacy scare myself. not fun. but if u want help u need to tell someone. or you can go to a local medical center and find out that way.
