I met my boyfriend over summer. Later I found out he was moving away to a different city 4 hrs. away for school. It's not bad, that I have to take the train every now and then to see him. But, having a long-distance relationship is new to me. And the fact that I can't have him come on down in 10 mins. to go to watch a movie or have him by my side when I'm upset kinda upsets me. He can't visit me. He works on the weekends and goes to school/work during the week. Lately I've started bickering with him over the silliest stuff. I know I do it because I'm upset and mad that he had to move away. He's going to be staying there for 4 yrs. and I really like this guy. But, I'm tired of constantly being the one who makes all the trips over there..just because he can't. I don't know how to handle this situation and I want to stay with this guy but can't see myself putting up with it any longer. Please help.

Your problem is this, you don't want to travel and see him every single time. Right? but you do love him very much. As he ever considered of traveling to come and see you? If he has not done that... Then having a long distance relationship can be a big problem. In some ways the relationship that be between you and him would have to work something out. Like planning a time when he can go to visit you. Have you ever talked about your feelings with him? I can understand that your having trouble with a long distance relationship. And it doesn't go very well. And you hate it when he comes down to see you for 10 mins. But have you or him ever considered staying with you for about a week?
