reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2008): It's probably 50/50. But almost NO men like fat chicks. Not saying you are fat. A size 8 is, in my opinion, a nice size..not fat not skinny, just right. A size 10-12 is about the average size right? That isn't fat. But a thinner waist, full hips/butt/breasts/lips are nice to pair with it.

 most guys will look more at the girl with curves than at the really skinny girl or the fat girl. why? i really have no clue. but it is definitly a preference.

Porn stars are picked for popularity with guys, and you don't see a lot of porn stars who are as thin as runway models.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2008): and why are you interested in other guys opinions?their not the ones dating you the only person whose oppinion should matter (in this type of situation)is the person your with...but i will tell you my oppinion anyway..imo personality is much more important then looks.however i have fallen for a girl who is skinny but what i really like about her is her personality,her laugh,her voice,her smile and her eyes and so much more it's who you are on the inside that truly matters..because no matter who you are...your looks will fade over time

heya hunni, i have to start off with 10 - 12 omg your so not fat, if you want guys to opinionate you, then the way to do it is put yourself out there ask them what they think about you as a person, not on your weight because some guys may hurt your feelings, im a size 10-12 and im not just saying this but i do get compliments from guys about my weight, but most of the time is on my looks or if i change my hair or look different, i promise you your an average weight, and your only 17 your body still has changes to go through so dont worry about it, and dnt worry what other people think as long as you feel good in yourself dats all that matters hunni
