writes:ok here's the thing. i have been living with my bf for 5 years since i was 15. it was great at first we were both virgins and we had a baby a year later. because he wanted and during that time all i wanted was to make him happy. well lately i've notice that he only smiles when he's speaking to his family. when he's with me he's quiet, indifferent, if i try to start a conversation he's dismissive. i am a very pretty girl and i know i can get another person but the problem is i want him or at least the person he used to be. i have told him this already and he says hes sorry that he doesn't mean to make me feel bad.i also admit i have changed. but i assume is for the better. i mean i got a job so i could help him out, i learned how to cook a little, and i'm about to go back to school. i don't know wheter i should leave him or not because i do want him to b a part of our son's life but he's made it real clear that if we seperate he'll leave the country. what should i do?

 ask him if this is what he wants? to be with you or to leave you and his baby? just say because you will not put effort into this relationship if you won't meet me half way. at least you will know where you stand.
