writes:I have been seeing someone for over 6 months now and just found out that he is dating other people. We are not sleeping together just dating but I'm still really uneasy about it. When I confronted him he said that he wanted to still be friends with me and that he wants me in his life but that we are at different places in life where I want a relationship and he just wants to date. I need to know whether I should call it quits or continue to see him. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (20 November 2008): I know I'm only 16, and you probably don't think I know any better, but I've had friends in the same situation..... and it's better for you if you call it quits... nobody wants heartbreak, and unfortunately,it sounds like thats how its going to end.... he's told you already that he just wants to be friends, and now YOU need to tell yourself that... you should move on to somebody who wants a relationship, and who will cherish and respect your feelings, unlike this guy, who obviously didn't (dating other girls? not so nice on his part). Anyways... hope this helps a titch!
