Dear Cupid:

I feel like my boyfriend is getting distant from me and i don't know why. i thought everthing was going good, he hardly calls me or text's. i'm the one that calls him to see how his day went. I love this person

i waited a long time to find a man like him. He knew i was looking for, a LTR with marriage in mind. I don't understand why he answered my ad, just to leave me. should i just let it go or still be the nice and patient person and wait for him to come around

A female reader, Eyespy17 United States +, writes (14 May 2011):

How long have you been dating? Boyfriend/girlfriend?

The calling and communication should mostly be even at this point ; but I understand. I had a similar situation with my BF about 3 months in. I was always calling and making plans. So I told him and then I stopped calling him first and waited. It took 3 days and he was like "hey what happened? Let's go to dinner.

So maybe back off a bit ; then say something ; then back off and wait.
