I'm not in a place where you go out and see loads of gay women and I'm not a fan of online dating, where would you suggest? Plus how can you tell a straight gal to a gay one these days??? I say online , and in your case your friends, let them know you are looking for someone . they will help out you know how it goes, i know a friend who knows this gal who is looking for a date :) hey no harm in that, it may be a blind date but she may turn out to be the love of your life lol. give it a chance let your friends hook you up. atleast you'll have tried it. all the best.

Do you have any friends that could set you up with someone, blind dates can be scary but you could meet them in a group first and see how that goes.
Even if your busy cant you go to a bar (gay bar maybe) once a week or even once every two weeks, go with friends and just have fun, talk to knew people, even if you dont eet the right person there widening your friendship group will help you meet new people.
I know you said you dont like online dating and that is up to you but i can be a quick way to meet people in your area and find out if you like them or having anything in common before a date.

Plus how can you tell a straight gal to a gay one these days???- It will say on their profile- no heavy analysing involved.
