writes: I have really liked this boy from college for quite a while. Im quite shy do I havent actually talked to him but we've had eye contact a lot and i think he likes me to. I decided to tell my friend about him and she said she also knows him and that her friend also likes him. She also went on to say that he's moving to america (from england) on the 28th of december for a year. I feel so unset and lost. I dont no him but i really want to. Do you think I should go for it even though we wont have long together?

reader, anonymous, writes (28 November 2006): Yes, ask him out, go for it. Life is too short. He might not be what you expect or you could have a wail of a time. At least you will have one month to be together then who knows you may have a long distance relationship on your hands. best of luck
