reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2005): The same thing happened to me but our age difference was a little greater. I was 4 years older than him. We dated off and on for over 2 years. To this day I wished we had stayed together, because he was the love of my life.
Our relationship started with him pursuing me, that let me know that I didn't have anything to worry about legally.

I agree with the poster below, but I had the same situation and so me being a shy senior, I just forgot about him completely and didn't for legal reasons and the fact that he didn't really like me was the reason I backed away. I also prayed for things to be good and also that I wouldn't like a minor like that no more, and you know? I worked. Come the futre who knows down the road, if it was meant to be, it will. Fate will met us again.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 August 2005): I understand you may feel like you have an intimacy with this guy, and it may be true but you have some choices and questions to address. Firstly i guess you need to consider that at the age of 15 your feelings can change in intensity and vary dramatically in no time at all, for you i suggest that this would indicate a need for caution before taking any further action (particularly if theres a risk of real physical intimacy). If you two get into something and it goes wrong then there could be many tears and worse, legal repercussions.
Is there any opportunity to spend time as friends? This will give you time to figure out if he is really the one you want, it may dispell some of the obsession, it will also give time for him to become legal, so at least if you do get into something you should know its for real. You will also be legal! good luck
