A male , anonymous writes:

I had been in a four year stormy but loving relationship, which she broke up a few weeks ago after a minor silly row,and i moved back to my house, i found out it was just an excuse to get me out the house so she could give her brother somewhere to live after being in prison for last 6 years.

i left her house taking nothing assuming she would give me my property back, it took solicitors letters just to get my clothes and tv, everything is at her house, she will not talk, has changed all phone numbers and wont answer letters, she told police i was harrassing her, they cautioned me and told me to keep away, this is normal behaviour for her following arguments, but usually she returns all my property, however she wont respond to solicitors letters at all now and has everything of mine at her house as i moved most of my home into hers as she has nothing.

its not just useful things like washer, dryer, vacs etc its everything except my very personal property, though she kept some of that also, it amounts to around £10,000 of property. i wrote saying i need the items back if over for good to give me closure and police again called over harassment. i am at a loss what to do next ?

its been four weeks since this happened, the police wont get involved. she wont talk and still phones the police if i go round, i also found out her brother has not come out of prison yet but i am no nearer to getting my property back, i wrote and said until she returns it i have no closure yet still heard nothing. i truly believed she loved me as i do her but am confused !

Sounds odd. Go through a solicitor. If she is accusing you of harrassment to the police then you're best off just leaving her alone and pay someone to sort it out for you

If I were you, since she is using the police, why don't you do the same? Call the police and explain to them what is going on and have them escort you over there to get your belongings back. I know that sounds drastic but since she is not cooperating at all, why not? Good luck to you.
