I keep getting thrush when i have sex with my bf, but he doesn't have it. Is it possible that he is just 'carrying' it? Or that something else is causing it that is brought on by sex, because that's when i get the thrush back again.

Toria agony auntAlot of males just carry Thrush without any signs or symptoms so it could well be that he is a 'carrier' of thrush, I would get him to see a doctor failing that you can buy thrush creams over the counter.

Wendyg agony auntHi there,

It could be that he has got Thrush and you just can see it! Alot of men show no symptoms, and it can hide under the head of the penis. Some of the symptoms that do appear are redish spots on the head of the penis and sometimes flaking skin. But in the main they dont have any of those and you cant see it! doesnt mean he doesnt have it! Ive had the same problem before, no visual signs on my man so thought he was okay, when infact it was transference bewtween the two of us that was giving it back and fourth so the cure... What he needs to do is, apply the normal canesten cream that you use sparingly 3 times a day to the head of the penis and underneath the head for at least a week, and this should hopefully clear it up, but do treat you at the same time just incase its lying there in wait. I would suggest that if you have sex in this time to use a condom, to give it a fighting chance of keeping it at bay. Also for any other recurrent episodes that you have, your boyfriend should also be treated to avoid you getting it back again even if he showns no signs and use a condom when you are treating it. This may clear it up for now but doesnt mean that you wont get future attacks some woman do just get more attacks and in time they die down, yeah dammed annoying, but at least by treating your partner you have a better chance at keeping it at bay for longer!

Take care x
