writes:Hi,I'm a 22 year old girl who's just graduated from College. All of my friends are now in different parts of the world and I really miss them. I'm very introverted and it is very hard for me to make new friends. I have this feeling that there is something about me that makes people hostile. I've even asked my friends about it often and they say its not true. Still, I'm working for a company and haven't managed to make any friends.. It kills me to eat alone at my desk everyday and again at night. What do I do? Reply to this Question

 I'm afraid there's no painless way around it. You just have to go for it - say hi to anyone who passes, ask them how they are and what they're up to. Friends will come eventually. Just be polite at first.
