writes: hi im 21yrs old, and i've had sex a couple of times with one guy. ive only made out with other guys before, nothing else. anyway, i found this pimple type thing on the inner lip of my vagina. i havent been with him for months, and it just showed up yesterday. i've never done anything unprotected, by the way. i just want to know if it's possible to just have a random bump...it feels just like a pimple and i've had a similar one a LONG time ago, way before i was sexually active. what could it be?

reader, anonymous, writes (16 November 2006): I'm pretty sure it is nothing to worry about but go along and get checked out at your doctors to find out exactly what it is and to put your mind at rest. We all get these little pimply things down there from time to time. Some hang around for ages then disappear other just go overnight. But do get it checked out. Take care xx
