well done! :) you must deserve it, coz as you say you are unpopular at work, therefore the award hasn't been given to you because of your popularity. why do you say are you unpopular? are you sure you are not liked?? you sound a bit low on self confidence. i suggest you open up a bit more with your colleagues, be more welcoming to friendship and chit chat, be more tolerant to other peoples differences. you can still be industrious while being sociable at work. presuming you work full time, your workplace is where you will be spending most of your time, so make sure you enjoy it

golddigger99 agony auntI think you are just humble. This a great quality and in fact, earns the title of greatness!

Own the award girl! Take pride in your hard work and walk into the headquarters with your head held high! If a speach is warranted, say something along the lines of "Thank you for the award, but I have to say that my job requires a team effort...(then list the names of those you consider worthy of the award too), or Thank you for the award, but I can't fathom being able to get here alone...

As for not being popular at work, I can understand this. I've come to realize that popularity doesn't get the job done but hardwork does. If you are indeed working hard, then there shouldn't be much time to people pelase. This isn't always taken lightly with coworkers. Also, they could just be jealous of your success. Just don't worry about it. If you are truely a hard worker, then you deserve whatever award they send your way!
