writes:I'm 19, and am on the dianette pill. for the past few weeks i seem to be constantly bloated every time i eat. my stomach is flat in the mornings but as soon as ive eaten my stomach gets so bloated that i look pregnant! could this be due to the pill? i couldnt be pregnant could i? any tips on foods to eat/cut down on would be great! plz help!

I have been suffering from bloating and indegestion for sometime. It helped when i switched to eating brown rice and sauted veggies with tofu. This is a healthy balanced meal and should help. Eating nuts should be ok to. Keep in mind DO NOT PUT ANY HERBS OR SPICES IN UR FOOD. THIS IS SURE TO BLOAT AN ALREADY SENSITIVE STOMACH!!

It's possible; however, bloated to the point that you look pregnant is a bit extreme.If you've been having unprotected sex and your body hasn't adjusted to taking the pill, it's possible that you may be pregnant; however, I don't think that anyone online will be able to confirm whether you are or are not.I would recommend going to see a doctor and explaining your symptoms to him/her. In the mean time, if you are worried about being pregnant, take a pregnancy test and find out.As for suggestions on foods to eat that will lessen bloating, do a Google search for "bloating+diet" - it'll pull up all sorts of informative articles with lots of tips and foods.  i get the exact same thing as you happen to me daily.
it can be caused by a lot of things.
yes it could be something to do with your pill. i have took birth control pills and thought that was the cause for my hidiously blouted stomach.
theres also a chance you have IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) which is what i have and it can be controlled by medication from your GP.
certain foods like dairy products can irritate the stomach leaving you bloated and feeling uncomfatable.
best thing to do is make your gp aware of this and have a check up

I have exactly the same problem. I was diagnosed with Irrital bowel syndrome which is getting better for me every day. But it could be another reason. Best thing to do would be to go see a doctor as they can rule things out. But it shouldnt be anything serious.
