A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There is a new boy in my sixth form and he is really nice and i would like to get to know him better. but when i try and talk to him i have no idea what to say as i don't want to say anything that he will think is stupid and i don't want to embarrass myself.

he is really attractive and i really like him and i don't know what to do.

i think there could be something there and my friends do too. he keeps staring at me and i really want to talk to him but i don't know how to.

any advice?

thanks.

A male reader, dirtball United States +, writes (1 October 2010):

dirtball agony auntDo you know anything about him? Does he play any sports? Is he active in any extra curricular activities? Those are always good topics of conversation. If not, more general talk about music, movies, TV, etc never hurts either. Heck, you could talk to him about some assignment in your class, or ask if he wants to do homework for that class together.

So many options... You just need to say hi and see where it goes.
