writes:I need help and pretty fast, I need help to be able to talk on the phone to my girlfriend cause to be honest I suck, near the 1 hr 50 mark it gets boring cause I don't have a clue what to say, and it usually goes on that long, 1. because she has soo many stories to tell, or 2. because of an awkward silence, it is only talking on the phone I have this problem, so any advice would be really really appreciated Reply to this Question

Dasd is verified as being by the original poster of the questionyeah I know it is quite a long time to be on the phone, but since we don't see each other often I quite like to hear her voice more :), called me a loved up sap. Yeah I do listen intently I always do, never a time when my focus is on something else when she is speaking tbh, it is't that I can't stand being on the phone, it is just I think the words (DUHH) but I can't actually bring myself to actually say the stuff that I am thinking :(. thanks for the advice :)

I have your problem, and I can't STAND being on the damn phone. If I were you, just try your best to prompt her to speak more and listen intently. You should really just tell her the honest truth, though.

Dasd is verified as being by the original poster of the questionwell we are in a long distance relationship so we don't get to see each other much, about once every two-three weeks :( so I love to hear her voice as much as possible, that is why I need help in this matter :/, and yess she is most definitely the one for me :D I love her to bits, but thanks for your answer anyway.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2011): OMG that is way too long to be on the phone. You should say what you have to say then hang up. If your afraid that she will get mad, then you need to decide if she is right for you or not. Besides, if your talking that long on the phone, what is left for conversation when you do see her? Its gonna kill any relationship that you have. Nip it in the bud now, or you'll have to keep on pretending to wanna talk. Be straight up...she probably will respect you more.
