I can't leave her, she will nap out of it

Question - (20 December 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 20 December 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend of 4 years just gave me an xmas card from her.

It was just a standard card from a standard pack and said 'merry xmas and all the best for the new year'.

This is the usual stuff she has given me and written for past 2 years now. I always get her a birthday or xmas card with 'girlfriend' on, but she hasnt sent me a card with 'boyfriend' on for 2 years.

We been together for 4 years, but 2 years ago we split up then got back after a few months. Since then its as if we are together if I ask her, but not if you go off her actions or words. I could just be a neighbour or something as far as her actions are concerned.

Whatever we had before the split has gone, now we just exist, not live!! When we got back together I felt the same lovefor her, but instantly knew she didnt for me. As time as gone on, even my feelings for her are going, so much that I dont even know why im with her.

I just want us back to how we was, but she does not seem eager to do this and holds back from me.

Everyone tells me to leave her and move on, but I cant because I know she will snap out of whatever it is at some point.
