writes:Hi, I'm so confused. Ever since I was little I get this wierd feeling, almost like guilt when ever someone likes me. I've only ever been in one r/s and he treated me badly yet I still wanted to go back to him. I have met other guys who treat me well but I just get a feeling to run when they show interest. I feel horrible because I feel like I'm constantly breaking peoples hearts and giving myself a bad name. I don't mean to hurt their feelings but I'm just not attracted. I seem to always go for things that are comlplicated and have little chance for success. Can anyone please give me advice on what to do. I just want to find someone I can feel good with.  It's really good that you have discovered this about yourself at your young age. Many women, without the awareness that you have, go through their adult years being emotionally abused by strings of men.
You can put a stop to this by trying to explore the issue of why you feel guilty when someone is good to you. If you feel deserving of good treament and you realise what amazing things you have to offer others (your insight, for one) you will find someone right for you - someone who excites you but also treats you with the respect you deserve.
