reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2011): Even though I realize this isn't what you want to hear, I really would try not to get involved with him on that level. I have had lots of misunderstandings where guys would stare at me and I took it as a sign they liked me. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other reasons why people stare - most of which have nothing to do with the person they're actually looking at. So, as difficult as it will be, I would suggest you find someone else, at least for now. Once you've graduated, you can see if that attraction is really there, but for now, I really think your safest option is just to view him as your lecturer and nothing more. Best of luck!
