There is a boy ive liked since... well a very long time. when i was in first year he used to tease me, walking home from school he and his mates would shout my name out in strange voices, i usually ignored it and took the longer way home to avoid them. the teasing stopped at the end of that year (two years ago). we got put into separate classes next year and i started taking the bus home because i moved so i havent seen much of him until recently, when we got paired up in guidance when i realized i still liked him, despite the teasing two years ago. He probaly knows i like him (a certain friend cant keep her mouth shut). i want to go uot with him but im not sure what to say.

A female reader, xxxsoulsistaxxx United Kingdom +, writes (18 March 2006):

xxxsoulsistaxxx agony auntThis guy probably like you too, boys that fancy girls often tease them to try and hide their feelings from others. However, as he was teasing you, he may be a bit embaressed about liking you in front of his friends so you need to go about this carefully.

As you've been paired up and realised you still like him, this is a perfect opportunity. Are there going to be times when you two are going to have a chance to speak while you are partnered? If there is, do a bit of flirting and see if he responds. If he does, go with it and ask him out when it feels right!!! If he doesn't seem interested, there's your answer, forget him and find someone else.
