If the answer is yes, then my instinct would be to say it's not true love.
Though, if the answer is no, it's not a straight forward "it's true love, then." And, you may think you can't live without someone, try spending a few weeks not talking to them. If you manage it fine, then your thoughts may change.
As 'OtherStarfish' said - you don't ever know, it just is.
There is no given definition for 'True Love'

normally you can tell there are signs of reciprocation. But often you don't....
if its all one sided then generally its crush\infatuation or similar.
