How do you forgive someone who keeps breaking promises?

hey me and my boyfriend have been going out for over 2 years.Recently since he started working as a lineman he has been a total jerk. he lies to me about everything! he promises he wont lie again and the next day he does the exact same thing. What do i do to make him tell m the truth? How do u forgive that person who keeps breaking promises? How do you trust sumone that can nver be trusted?

kenny agony auntTo put it bluntly you can not trust someone who can't be trusted, and neither should you want to. Why do you want to be with someone who keeps betraying your trust,who keeps lying to you, says he won't do it again, then does it the next day. You can not make him tell the truth, the more you tell him the more he is going to lie to you. Personally if i was you i would be inclined to leave this guy and find someone who you can rely on, and who does not lie to you.
