Question - (8 February 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 February 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My best friend is constantly with her boyfriend, they've been going out for just inder two years and never seem to be apart, obviously i'm happy for them but it's so annoying on the weekends she wont ever do anything with the girls unless he's invited, making the whole girlie night idea pointless, she is always talking about him or even on the phone to him during breaks at school as well as basically stopping him from meeting up with his friends. I invited a group of girls to a music festival last year, including her and we had an awesome time, but this year she wants to bring her boyfriend and wont even be staying at the same place as the rest of us. Me and my other friends think this will ruin the experience as they always seem to fight when theyre together and it makes it kind of awkward for everyone else

I've tried mentioning to her how it's meant to be a girl's weekend but the message didnt seem to get through, any suggestions on how i can make my point clear, or should i just forget it and leave her if she'd rather spend all her time with him?

Thanks

some people just cant take the hint, you got to say it how it is. You have to say this is girls only nobody else is aloud to bring their men and that it includes you, if she doesnt like it she doent come. Try explaining aswell that no man will put up with a needy women for long.
