writes:i have been with my man for almost 5 years and we have 2 kids. my problem is that i dont feel the same way about him like i did when we first got together. he has very bad anger issues which has made me angry. i love him but im sure that i am not in love with him anymore. i dont know how to go about this situation? i want to leave him but with kids it is really hard!!! i guess my question is ...how do i leave him without him taking my kids away from me because thats the only time that he wants anything to do with them, other then that, i am the one taking care of them! thy mean the world to me!!! i would be totally lost without my kids. reader, anonymous, writes (8 July 2009): The courts are always on the side of the mother in situations like this. Unless he can prove you are unfit to care for them...you have nothing to worry about!
If you are that concerned, see an attorney, the initial consultation is usually free. Ask as many questions as you can think of (it would be smart to prepare a list of questions ahead of time)
