So I need help concerning my boyfriend. He has a lot of "pet names" I guess you'd call it for me and I'd really like some for him but I can't think of any. I was wondering if you could use "babe" for a guy too... umm, any help would be great--names, ideas, etc. thanks in advance!!

hey, i know wat u mean theres soo many names my boyfriend calls me and i can hardly think of anything. i often call him daft names in text messages like 'boo' or 'sexpot' also call him daft things like 'sexy bum' or even 'sweetie pie' or 'cutie pie' altho they do sound rather girly but to his face i just usually refer to him as 'gorgeous' or occasionally 'babe'. Hope i was a little bit of help x

I read once in an article that names like "little bear", "tweety", "cat" etc should be avoided, so don't name cute animals too often because it can create the adverse effect. "Zoo effect..." "Babe" is okay, "honey." But most of all, his name, yes. To hear your name at the beginning of every phrase can be so beautiful. There's a verse in Boyzone, "I love the touch of my name on your lips", if I well remember. I do have this habit, I must confess. As far as I know, pronouncing the other's name more often creates a sensation of more closeness, more than any pet name...
