reader, anonymous, writes (8 September 2008): 10 years is a big age gap at her age. Perhaps it's just your animal instinct that causes you to feel this way and the physical attraction is fairly normal.
Maybe it would be better if you waited for her to make a move towards you? You say you know she loves you, but I wonder if it's a familial kind of love rather than something more serious than that?
You could try 'dipping your toe in the water' and tell her that you find her very attractive, then see what kind of reaction you get. She may not look upon you as you do her, but she's very young yet and has a lot of living to do before settling down with one man. That man may turn out to be you sometime in the future, but tread carefully in the meantime because you don't want to spoil the relationship you already have with her.
