reader, anonymous, writes (22 February 2009): The first time is almost always a bit of a fumble, far from perfect and seldom amazing - especially two virgins getting down and dirty. You'll probably look back on it in years to come with a groan, so don't expect fireworks with an orchestra playing the 1812 overture in the background because it won't happen. My guess is you'll be left rather disappointed and he'll feel rather embarassed at ejaculating after only 20 seconds or so once he gets inside you. That's normal though, but whatever you do don't criticise him for it. You'll scar him for life if you say "Is that it?" Half an hour later he'll be up again and raring to give it another go and things will only get better from then on.
However, if you both treat it as a learning process and communicate to each other what feels good and what doesn't, and don't feel embarassed about doing so, in no time at all you'll be getting the most out of what will hopefully become a very satisfying and long-lasting sexual relationship.
