How can I put myself in position where I seem more like a romantic interest than a friend?...

A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

While I was in one of my college classes I caught a girl checking me out. Later that day I talked to her and it was relatively awkward. I've talked to her since and the awkwardness has dissipated. She seems really nice and is someone I'd like to get to know better. Recently she asked me if I'd want to hang out with her and of course I said yes. We haven't hung out yet though. I feel like I'm presenting myself to her as a too much of a friend. How can I put myself in position where I seem more like a romantic interest than a friend?

Dear Poster

I suggest you ask her out on a date; maybe the movies or something.

THEN

maybe hold her hand but take it step by step and monitor her body language.

Best wishes and keep SMILING.
