ok so first of all i have had a really bad past and childhood with all my guys and my mom guys cheating. so i have a huge guard up when it comes to not trusting!

there is a new guy that im talking to and have been for 2 months, he is so good to me! he treats me perfectly and hasnt done anything wrong to make me not trust him.

but i still cant trust him!!! because every girlfriend he has had, he cheats on.

but he says im different (every mans line)

but we have really fallen for each other! he even wears my sister ring around his neck (she passed away.)

so how can i make myself trust him??

A reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2010):

You can't force yourself. It just takes time. If he proves he deserves your trust, he will earn it and you will gradually give it to him over time together, it's not something that happens overnight. Try to not let past relationships and relationships for your mum affect how you see him. It's a little concerning his past...But the others shouldn't matter to this relationship. He deserves a clean slate for that much. But why has he always cheated? Thats not good...
