Im not really wanting a relationship right now but I still not 100% on why girls don't like me. Right im a bit chubby but hey a lot of people are. I've got light blue eyes and thick blonde hair, I play rugby so im not out of shape. Is there any way to look for attractive or am I just screwed over for the rest of my teenage life.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (17 November 2008):

Are you sure they don't like you? If you are giving out signals you are not interested then that could be why they stay away. Also some girls are shy.

It's interesting that you think your looks are driving people away. Have you talked to your friends about your looks? Or your family? There are all sorts of reasons people are attracted to each other and its not just looks. Sometimes it's similar interests or the other person being fun or all sorts of things.

If you're not looking, don't worry about it. Could be when you meet someone you like you might just click with them.
