reader, anonymous, writes (25 December 2008): Just enjoy what you couldn't enjoy if you had a boyfriend: Flirt with every single guy, Dare to post an online single's profile, talk a lot with your girlfriends on the phone, get into a club, challenge yourself with new and different goals (learn sign language, take a karate class, go to church...) to keep mind off your loneliness.
It helps if you think that while you are doing all this stuff you are becoming a better person, which will make you a better partner for your future boyfriend. To be good a something will also give you the confidence you need to become more attractive and to have something else to talk about on your first date.

 When someone finds out the answer to that question dont hesitate to tell me too :) I know exactly how you feel, I dont have a girlfriend and would really like one. I have alot of fun being single hanging out with friends and doing fun activities like signing up for skydiving but at the end of the day no matter how good a day its been it always feels like theres something missing from my life. So good luck and I hope you find happiness one way or another :)
