writes:Hi. This is a bit odd I know, but anyway here goes! I am a guy in my early 20s. My nipples are really soft and just about never firm. Sometimes they are si soft they are just about flat. Does anyone know what this means or how I can make them firmer? THanks.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 November 2006): Maybe you have gynocomastia, "bitch tits". Usually happens during puberty when testosterone is high and the body produces oestrogen to counter act it.
A drug called tamoxifen has been known to reduce it or stop it getting worse but the only way to completely remove it is male breast reduction surgery.
To prevent it looking worse try and and avoid things that causes water retention ie drink plenty of water and keep salt intake low.
