writes:ok, me and my guy have been seeing eachother for 5 weeks, on the second date he asked me to be official with him but I told him we needed to get to know eachother better because it was so soon now last week I asked where this him and me thing was going and he said he wasn't ready for a relationship, so I confronted and asked where I stood and he told me that his ex had contacted him a couple of weeks ago and it had screwed his head up. Is he just stringing me along or not? what do I do next?

 It sounds to me that he is not over his ex yet. Otherwise it would not have bothered him if he spoke to her.
If this is the case then you do not deserve to be second best, and should either confront him and ask what he really wants or walk away.
